Warp The length of yarn attached to the needles to form the basis on which to weave.
Weft The yarn that is threaded through the needles and then pushed on to the lengths of yarn to form the weaving.
Row One row is counted by weaving the weft yarn through the needles from one side to the other and back again.
Tension The weaving tension which you apply must be consistent, not too tight and not too loose. If too tight, it will make moving the needles through the weaving difficult.
Strip A length of weaving using cut warp lengths, then weaving several rows to form a long piece of weaving called a strip.
